Hey guys! Not sure if anyone has posted about this before. But I just got my Scrubba Bag, and it is too unbelievable not to share. It is perfect for van life or really any kind of life spent on the move. It only takes about half an hour to wash a few days worth of clothes, then drying will depend on how warm of an area you have to hang your clothes in. We have been getting rain in mn so I've been hanging my clothes in the van and they've been drying in about 24 hours. They smell great. I was skeptical as hell at first but this thing is solid. I feel way better being able to wash anything I get dirty at any time.

I highly recommend the Scrubba Bag to anyone and everyone living off the grid. So much better than a laundromat or asking people to use their machines.

I've had one of these on my amazon wish list for a while. I just thought it looked mega expensive for what it is and without knowing anyone that had actually tried one I wasn't sure. Thanks for reviewing it. Might have to save and get one.

I think it is a great idea. However, my clothes get so dirty while squatting on Public Land, I am sure that only a washing machine would get them clean. The idea of carrying more water doesn't have any appeal. I think for some it might work, but I think a visit to the Laundromat is also a social occasion and an easier option for clean clothes. I can get so dirty that I am indistinguishable from the landscape and other creatures both in appearance and smell

Between the washing and rinsing, approximately how much water do you go through?

you could probably use as little as a quart of water.

i got super lucky and found a scrubba bag at a mexican thrift store for $2 unopened! so definitely worth it there. I think it's a little bit gimmicky, the only difference between the scrubba and any dry bag is the scrubbing bumps and the air hole. there's some good tips about using dry bags for washing clothing here:

and a high quality dry bag is about half the price of a scrubba.

That's pretty sick that you are going on adventures on Public Land. Are you working at parks or something or just kinda low key hanging out on land?

And yeah I go to the laundromat for bigger things like blankets. But dang man it is expensive. 5 bucks at least a load to wash and dry. Around here, anyway. I'm sure they aren't as expensive everywhere.

Haha that is so lucky that you found that. And thanks for the link!
