Hey duders, my name is Siobhan (good luck pronouncin'). I've done a bit of hitchin the past few years, around the Pacific northwest and the midwest, but now I just moved into my very own car. I intend to head north towards Oregon (I'm in Santa Cruz right meowmeow), and then I think I might head diagonally across all da states to New Orleans??? Who knows, we'll see.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What I really am lookin' for is some sweet organic/permaculture farms that might be down to have a lady come through, learn, and help out.

Like most of ya'll, I'm pretty in love with the ocean, the redwoods, peeing/being outside, climbin' mountains, and generally just having a good relationship with the earth.
Aside from that, I'm just a mixed bag of curiosity in regards to people, places, etc. What's beautiful to see? What's funky? What's up??? down to learn ;P

Weelp, excited to meet cha xx

Hehehe... as usual I am da clueless.

Welcome to stp Siobahn.
You have some meowtastic pics there that look like good times were had.
STP for me is a fountain of eye opening culture and information.
Hope you find the same and hang around for the party.
There is a lot of info here and to facilitate that we have a search in the upper right hand of the screen across from your name mail and alerts.
You are also encouraged to participate in the hodgepodge silliness that is our chat room and/or post threads in our varied forums to search for answers or just say meowR.

Welcome.

Sheh-von, right? I had a friend named Siobhan and she pronounced it sheh-von. Of course we all called her shimmy for short. Haha welcome to the site.

Cool intro! and welcome to STP! Matt had it best though - you got the vehicle - do consider the Niland, CA slabs for a big grouping of us STP members there among other people already there. <#[email protected]%^[email protected]> I shall not be there, perhaps next year. But either way feel free to bounce questions and ideas off of us - lots of info here. Plus we love pics of your travels. Have fun and stay safe!!

Welcome @Siobhan ! I used to know another Siobhan so I'm sure I have the pronunciation correct. Your trip ideas sound fin as hell. I've been meaning to leave the pnw and head diagonal over to Orleans myself . You going to drive the whole way?

Support StP!

Donations go towards paying our monthly server fees, adding new features to the website, and occasionally putting a burrito in Matt's mouth.

Total amount
$30.00
Goal
$100.00

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $30.00 of $50.00
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $30.00 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $30.00 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $30.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.
