It's not too difficult to get fabric paint and cut out a stencil. I usually use an edge of a sponge and just dab it on and it works almost as well as screen printing.

im not really into grindy crust bands anymore, so i get most of my patches from etsy.com... you find some crazy shit there, i got an epic collection i'm about to start sewing on my vest soon.
