Wilderness Squatting : building treehouses or other wilderness shelter ideas

sticks branches and leaves of many kinds will make up the roof of your shelter if you have no tarp or other man made water protection device. bark works well, as do grasses and such. many many things can help make a shelter, its all about knowing how to use the resources aorudn you.

I find sunflower plants work well. The leaves are normally pretty massive 6 -12 inches, and since its a weedy plant, where one sunflower plant is, many more are sure to be found. they work well for roofing material.

Has anyone here ever made or know anything about making an eskigan?
I'm trying to find directions on how to do it. I have a good idea judging
by the few pics I have seen, but not to certain on structure techniques.
