you can strap your pack to your board and pull it with a rope. nothing is worst than walking some where and being so used to skating/biking that all you can think during the walk is how you would be there already if you had your wheels. as well as it is something to do when you are bored, and a good way to meet like minded people. i like having trusted friends watch my pack while i skate to go pick up what ever we plan on doing that day, nah mean? 
when you get tierd of having it trade it for something. cons, some peoples dogs will try to attack you. the weather ruins your shit so don't bring a super nice deck with you.
