Rolled in here the other night and just looking for some cool spots to hang out and stuff to do while I'm here for the next few days. Been bumming around downtown but haven't ventured out too much. Looking in particular for cheap bars/grub, diy shows or punk show venues, and gathering spots for fellow dirty kids and travelers. If any of you guys got any recommendations please let me know. Thanks!
Me Not really into the "scene" but there is a lot of punkhouses type deals up in the Art district up the MAXyellowline
South on the yellow towards Milwaukee across the river by the submarine, there is a bike trail down the river to a cool urbex old dock house/warehouse
The behavioral center downtown lets you shower, laundry and charge up. And gives you food. Also has a clothing bank. You'll need to get a ticket from a van in the morning around the old greyhound station. Two blocks from the blanchet house.
Milwaukee library is dope
Vancouver is worth checking out aswell
