Hey there! =)
I've landed here on StP after researching about trainhopping.
I'm a young guy from southern Germany wanting to explore the world on a minimalistic, low-budget and espacially adventoures travel style.
I'm interested in lost places, backpacking, etc. etc.
The first time i hitchhiked was with the age of 15 to vienna. Since then i visited more and more places/countrys and went on a lot of hikes with my friends. On these adventures i already learned a lot, but I'm pretty sure theres so much more to learn and explore, so i thought about searching for answers for my questions on this website.
Speaking of my plans: I'll travel to the UK in June & July for about 7 weeks. I plan on hitchhiking all the way to northern scotland, maybe i'll even get over to the Faroer Islands somehow. We'll see...
Like I said - for a few months now i dream about trainhopping. This kind of travel style is so interesting and intensive, i just want to try it out.
I am aware of the danger which comes with it, but thats why i'm here. To learn about it!
I'm glad for any tips and advices about trainhopping!
Greetings!
