they allow free outback camping , but you have to apply for a permit, you need a boat to take you to a from the island. the way i see it on sattelite its full of islands and sandbars, and the longest stretch of open water is only 2 miles. maybe a homemade kayak? in winter the no seeums and mosquitos dont bite. potable water can be obtained from the legit pay campgrounds. but if you take a homemade boat made from bamboo and a tarp whos gonna know youre deep in there somewhere?

Hahahaha... I just saw this, and... yes, my friend, I must warn you - HELLLL yes, they do!! Granted, I was in KW (and some other places), but it was most definitely winter, and the no seeums were most DEFINITELY out in foorrcceeee!! :)
