So I’m about to move to Nashville, TN to work a job and I’m going to need a place to camp. I can get around on bike/bus, but I still need somewhere to stash my stuff during the day and sleep at night.

Anybody have any advice?

You could try asking the job site if you can camp near the location, it would be in their best interest to have you nearby and not having to rely on the bus to be on time...

If they say no, then your best bet would to arrive a few days early and just start scoping out places. Go to the camping stores and ask people, just start asking people if you can crash in their backyard or know a good place to stealth camp.

Depends on where your work is, what part of Nashville, TN. Looking on google maps, trying to spot nearby secluded/somewhat secluded areas, forest, parks... ect.. may be helpful.

Theres Radnor Lake state park, some grassy, perhaps secluded areas along Cumberland river, near shelby bottoms nature center & greenway, Bordeaux garden park, some more treeish area near Mount Olivet funeral home & cemetery, some more near Mill creek and Raymond heights.. it goes on.. never been there though so you'd need to suss em spots out, thats just a quick peep on google maps via satellite image.

Yea I’ve found a few hopeful spots that way that I’ll scope out more thoroughly once I’m there. I’ll be in the more southeast region.

Lived in Nashville the last year in my van. It’s super easy to do if you have a vehicle. But camping is a little more difficult. Radnor or you can check out the Percy priest area. There are some secluded areas no one really checks but just make sure you’re not somewhere patrolled.
