Hey guys, my plan is to make my way to Nicaragua, rent a small apartment and stay there for a while.

After looking at the prices for plane tickets from Canada it occurred to me that the further south I get the cheaper the ticket will be. Plus, I think a journey down the west coast United States could be quite interesting and a nice prelude to my time in Nicaragua.

What is the cheapest way, starting in Seattle, to go South?

ahahah agreed!

hitching the west coast is simple.
a lot of people do it, so your more likely to get rides.
plus you can get some pretty dank nugget kick downs when you hitch through cali
and was you get down far enough to were ever,
you can always take a bus.

Near Ukiah California.
If ya need ANY advice on the 101 or 1 between Mendocino County(Nor Cal) and
getting down to LA. let me know...it's my favorite route.
+ Can give info re best hitch spots, public buses, beach sleeping spots, etc.
There is also a thread on STP re hitching into & out of LA...
Good Luck
