[Bourgeois and Bored]

Looking for a good area in so cal that is a good town for travelers and not to far from good areas out of town for camping out? I like to be out away from many folks but not too far that I can't get into town to hang out some.

Malibu on the coast... bus 534 to downtown Santa Monica.. Newbury park inland near Sherman oaks with some complicated maze of buses but it was a quiet town with plenty of space to camp out.

I've had some luck at the dog park right next to venice. You can get away with sleeping in the coves at golden cove but there's no resources around there just a really beautiful spot. My advice would be stay away from lbc
