this is euphrates [YOO-FRAY-TEEZ] . she is two years and eight months, i have had her since she was five weeks old. my bestest friend in this whole world.
i'm tempted to post a zillion pictures right now, because i am in love with my dog. furiously.
this is moni. heeler/staffordshire mix. she's a few months older now than in any pics, which are probably in the 6-8 months range, and she's now going on 11 months.
I have a border collie/german shepard mix. I saved him from a litter of puppies in the winter on a farm property and helped find homes for the rest. His name is Timid Timmy. He's my best bud in the world. He's about 5 years old right now and I'm happy to take care of him. This breed is the best, smartest, toughest there is IMO I recommend them as a pet highly. Very cute, fluffly, lovable, and protective. I'll edit in a picture later tonight!
I couldn't imagine what it'd be like knowing some scum pig murdered my fur kids. And did it 'legally.' I also couldn't imagine anyone involved making out too well...

The big Goldie is my Bruce. The black one is Rose and the little one is Molly (even though you can't see them that well). I didn't name any of them but we got Rose for free from a friend of a friend a couple years ago and Bruce is 8 months old and going to be a dad in a few weeks thanks to Rose and him getting into trouble when we weren't around. Rose is my girlfriend's, Molly is her mom's and Bruce isn't mine, but I love the little bastard as if he were. We got him from some crappy little pet store that was keeping him in a cage that was too small with his sister and wasn't feeding them enough so we bought him and found out his sister had been bought earlier in the day. Bruce may be big but he is a cuddly little lap dog at heart and loves sleeping on the bed as close to me as he can. I think if I went on the road like I'm planning to I would try to take him with me even though he's not mine. I couldn't stand to leave him behind, he's like a brother to me now and I'd sooner starve than let him go hungry. Money is tight around here and I've had days when I gave him (and the other dogs because I'm not a total bastard) my dinner because we had no dog food left.
