Came across these videos today, kinda surprised I hadn't heard about this yet so I figured it might be of interest to others on here. Basically, this guy breaks down how to turn the smoke from your wood stove into crude oil and syngas that can power your generator, truck and even your refrigerator. I'm really interested to hear about anyone's experience building one of these systems, cause it almost looks too good to be true

we seriously plan on building something like this. along with the solar, gas gennys, possible hydro power from the creek and maybe someday even a steam engine this will contribute to our power supply

Wood gas!
I've only used this on a small scale
with a wood gasification camping stove.

My stove,
composed of

FEMA has so very bad pamphlets
on how to use wood gas to power a vehicle
in case the world suddenly goes to poop.
