When I was there food not bombs was extremely difficult to track down (though multiple people I met assure me they did feeds). We did get our hands on this book and it was quite helpful though:
https://www.wttin.org/ The homeless shelter there has hard copies. If you're gonna be there a while it's a good thing to have handy. There were feeds pretty much every day (several days had multiple feeds) and even a place to do laundry that gave out fancy bread from publix. I didn't have much luck with the dumpsters, panhandling, or busking there but the other resources were excellent.
Don't let the cops bite!
*edit* most of these resources are faith based but when I was in contact with them they never pushed it too much (though one feed is followed by an optional sermon/worship session)
*edit 2* the homeless shelter there (specifically the rescue mission) won't allow you to have pocket knives/bladed tools on you or in your bag and there is not place to store your stuff there so I never went to those feeds
