i rode greyhound from asheville to VA beach and being on the bus itself wasnt too bad but the connections sucked. i missed my connection in charlette at 3am after i had already been waiting there since 1130 and had to wait till 5 pm the next day. but they didnt hassle me about sleeping on the floor. almost every connection was at 12 am to 4 am witht he bus station closed and it being 25 degrees outside for hours.

Hey guys this May, im hopping a bus from south florida to california, but im not sure where to start the trip. Wheres a good place For a novice to start out at? I plan on seeing the whole state, I heard slab citys pretty cool, but might be to hot in mid summer. Any one Ever sleep under The Red woods? Really looking to do that. Just looking for cool cities and places to sleep. Thanks for the help.

ugh yeah i've done the New York to Oregon trip a few times and its miserable....cheap, but miserable....
