Got dropped here last night. It was after dark and the campground was full, so no one was working the booth. I just strolled through the grounds to the beach and found a killer spot away from the "campers."

Nice clear night with a bloated Moon. Had a tall train trestle bearing down from the left, a closed-down pier to the right. Huge waves. Starry night. The rock formations here are insane, too.

BONUS: In the A.M., got my first shower in weeks for $0.25!

Not a very nice place to hitch out from, though. Maybe if it were Sunday evening and all the visitors were leaving.

Yeah. Big Sur was trippy to go through. The Soberanes fire is still just 60% contained. close to 90K acres!

I slept in a sweet spot in "downtown" Big Sur and spent most of the following morning there. It was crazy watching and hearing all of the aircraft and roadcraft coming and going. around the clock.
