Does anyone know any squats in America?
I rarely see them in all of my travels.
I know in Texas if you find an abandoned house, the law permits you to stay, although the cops will likely immediately seek out the owner and if the owner wants you gone, you're gone. If you somehow get lucky for 10 years of the owner being fine with it, you can keep the land.
