I've been stuck in Tulsa for a minute and in my time here I can't helpbut think what potential Tulsa actually has. Easy access to hop outs, convienently located between the east and west coast, and a rail that runs north routinely. It's a shame to see potential lost because this city has nothing to offer. There's been an idea thrown out about starting a collective food not bombs house which I think has the potential to bring in a whole new vibe to such worn out place.
Just throwing it out to the community if there were more resources readily available would people actually be willing to check it out?

awesome!!! fnb (or just puttin on a "feeding in general) sounds like it would be such a fun and rewarding thing to get involved with...good luck...have you seen the food not bombs startup guide/FAQ thing on their website?....... i always thought it would be cool to do one for meat eaters and beer drinkers(not using the FNB name) in a park with grills and shit ..byob style..

I don't plan on staying here too long but it'd be cool to say you were there to start something I had sort of a revelation

I always wanted to do a Food Not Bombs but the whole no meat thing turned me off. There are a shit ton of QT's there. Figure out what time the ones nearest to you get in their trucks. They throw trash bags of sandwiches away.

Has this endeavor been accomplished yet? It would be nice to know if there is a Food Not Bombs in Tulsa, Or any other kind of free meal in the Tulsa area.
