I haven't seen as many other travelers rocking army coveralls as i thought i would. Is there a reason for this? I'm pretty green, solo thumber that hasn't been on the road very long, but i picked up a coverall at a flea market for $25 and I've since tossed most of my other clothing. I might be overdoing the army look, with army coveralls and an ALICE pack, but it's what I could scrounge up before I left Philly. Anyone have thoughts?

The olive drab Army coveralls aren't too bad. The camouflage ones, especially the digitals tend to draw attention. I prefer the "grey man" approach when traveling, wearing clothes that don't stand out. Hell, in some cities wearing an Alice rucksack by itself tends to get unwelcome attention from police. Those old coveralls should last you awhile though.

I have a friend that had a flight suit it was pretty sweet. Said he got it at a thrift store for five bucks. Imagine an alpha flight jacket but as a jumpsuit im sure it kept him warm in the winter.

The green hat in your pic might make it seem confusing. I know what you mean though, I carried a giant duffle bag I got from an army surplus store. It was so dope and useful that I could care less.

You can really get them anywhere even Wally's. Anywhere that sells work type clothing like dickies carhart etc.
hmm maybe bc it's florida stuff like that is less common here? every walmart I've been to in florida, at most, just had these tacky overalls that were way too frumpy. BUT I found two pairs at a local-ish flea market today !!!
