A trip to Kyrgyzstan, over on the border of China. The Tian Shan Mountains are beautiful but a bit of a mission. The capital city has a mad market with all sorts of instruments, car parts, food, spices for sale.

The people are friendly, and the vodka is cheap.

Cheers man, it's a Lumix TZ70 pretty much just in point and click mode. With good light it gives some really nice phots

Epic place to explore for sure, makes me want to get my damn passport!!! A friend of mine went there to split board for a season and it got my curiosity up.

I was just there in November. Lovely country but it's fucking cold in the winter (surprise!) I didn't get to do any hiking unfortunately. Hung out in Karakol with the apparent mafia guys of that town. Good hash.

I really want to go to the mountains between Karakol and China, though. Looks so beautiful.
