I don't know if this belongs here, I'm not currently travelling; but these are good travelling pants. I got some nice material from the thrift store and sewed some harem pants. The waist and cuffs are really lazy, and I haven't added pockets yet.

I folded the cloth in half and laid out a pair of jeans, then cut the shape out, with a low n-shaped seam between the legs. Then I sewed the sides up in a y-stitch. Then I folded the waist and cuffs up and sewed them into a tunnel. Finally I ripped up strips of the leftover cloth, cut holes in the tunnels, knotted the ends of the cloth to make it easier to grasp, and pulled it through, so the size could be adjusted.

I was inspired to make these when I couldn't find a sarong. These pants are great for doing yoga and are super comfortable. The design is climate insecific - you can use heavier cloth for the winter.
