I'm trying to think of a way to attach my day pack (just a regular messenger bag) to my travel pack. My travel pack has a external frame with a bar that sticks out about half a foot up and I was thanking that would be the perfect spot. I originally thought the buckles from shopping carts to clip it there. Then my uncle told me he thought Velcro would work better. Opinions?

i don't know if velcro would be strong enough to hold your day pack in place. i guess if it was empty and attched to your travel pack then it might be alright. My only issue with velcro is that its easy to get pulled apart. i'd worry my bag might get caught on somthing and get ripped off, or maybe someone would pull it off. I dunno just my opinion.
