Yeah, HBC did a good job at portraying Marla. I liked the character in the book even more.

I'm reminded of the time a kinda conservative friend of mine asked me a similar question, and I rattled off a similar list. He half yelled at me, "You do realize that you're admitting to be attracted to women of the psychopathic spree criminal type, right!!!!" I stared at him deadpan until it became evident that he was waiting for an answer from me, so I replied, "So, what's your point?"
