California is the heart that pumps the stereotypical notions of the usa. I never in my life witnessed so much homelessness and degradation. So ill be biking out tonight taking the yubacity route on up to the promise land.. Its been crazy getting all the equipment needed but I loved taking it all from big businesses and corporations. The last bike was the pos bike i was gonna take had it 2days broke derailer 3pm ditched it n got the roadmaster 1hr later...

I used to stay up on Honeyrun close to the stretch where the road is all graffiti'd. That's a nice road for sure but I'd be scared to ride it, myself. My very first weekend in Chico my friend Topher and his buddy Ice picked me up. Ice was 100% redneck, giant beard long hair, hick accent, drove an old ford truck, drove drunk at all times. He used to drive an icecream truck is apparently how he got the nickname Ice. Anyway, those two pick me up one night with a couple six packs of bigfoot ale. Bigfoot ale ain't no joke, 4 beers a piece is more than enough. Plus Ice is already plastered and behind the wheel of course. We smashed up Honeyrun road probably twice the speed limit and found a place to drink the beers by the river. Just knowing that guy probably still drives Honeyrun worries me even when I'm in a car mostly protected.
