need backpack, guitar case, tent.

Right now I've only got a guitar with no case and need to get strings. A average backpack and a tote bag attached.

I'm already on the road. I was fine in summer when I was in the central valley but yea... Winter and I'm up in northern Cali.

Any ideas on places I might find stuff cheap or ghetto rigs?

I was thinking of using a black garbage bag to protect my guitar from rain.

A trash bag should last until you get something nicer. I'd look for the Goodwill Clearance Centers. They sell their items by weight, and it's usually easy to pick up luggage bags for dirt cheap.
