Ya need to. If youre a hot springs person put Strawberry up in Steamboat on your list. Beautiful.

I can also say the Sand Dunes is unequivocally the most fun place to eat mushrooms.

I saw Pikes Peak last January. I had a nice view of it while stoned on gummies and chillin at Coral Reef hot springs east of Cañon City. Such a great State Colorado is. The elevation causes me a little distress and there's no ocean, but other than that, I love it.

The distance from the ocean is huge for me as well. I feel a connection to the sea like I do to the mountains. Its a necessity for me.

That being said, when I start to go crazy to see the sea, Spirit does a round trip from Den to San Diego for $140 that scratches that itch.
