Hey, I'm Mira, a trans woman from Scranton. I've been an admirer of traveling for a while now - being trans around these parts isn't exactly the safest thing for me both personally and at work, and seeing as I just started transitioning, it's going to make things a lot harder down the road.

I'm an anarchist as well, have been for a good few years now. I tried organizing, doing the run of the mill activist shit in my area for a bit, but there's frankly nothing of worth here beyond people edging on to make everything like a nonprofit org or who are easily swept up by any ideas that come their way. Living every day the exact same, waking up, working, eating, and sleeping is driving me insane, too. Everything feels hollow and meaningless, and when I ran away a few times as a kid across a few states, they were some of the best times of my life. So, in a couple weeks I plan to start anew and just go; and for now I'm jumping on here.

Hi Mira! I'm a trans woman in Canada.

I've heard from other girls that a fresh start can be really helpful in the beginning of your transition :) There's lots of advice on the forums that's worth combing through, but if you figured it out as a teenager I'm sure you'll figure it out now. Good luck!
Is there anywhere in particular you're thinking of heading?

I'm hoping for a new start! Not sure where I'll end up yet specifically, thinking I'll find it as I go

Support StP!

Donations go towards paying our monthly server fees, adding new features to the website, and occasionally putting a burrito in Matt's mouth.

Total amount
$50.00
Goal
$100.00

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $50.00 of $50.00 - reached!
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $50.00 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $50.00 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $50.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.
