Hey everyone, I'm Dannielle

I just moved back to va from living in buffalo, ny and the adjustment's fucking brutal.
The plentiful dumpsters, the myriad of squatter kids willing to share their 40s, how you could walk/bike
everywhere...i'll miss it a lot.

But all those traveling kids passing through, talking about their crazy adventures definately inspired me to have one of my own.
So, come april i'm setting off on a cross-country hitchhiking excursion.
(I eventually want to end up in washington.)

Now, I've hitched around my hometown (va beach) and had an ill-fated running away to richmond once, but all and all i'm relatively inexperienced.

Right now's preparation time.
At the moment, I'm trying to find a traveling partner who's train-hopped before, so I can learn more about it.

I'm into: night skies, brutal honesty, folk punk, abandoned buildings, nature, visions, good times, DIY, loyalty, moshing, playing the drums, cooking, poetry, bunnies, preparing for the apocolypse, long-ass good conversations, psychology, stories, solitude, rocking the 40 oz haha

All I know is that I turn 19 tomorrow, and I wanna do more living than I have thus far.

Here is some artwork that I appreciate, maybe you will too.

Love the last piece. Seen it somewhere before and loved it.
You and I have a lot in common from what I've read haha.
Good luck preparing, and welcome to the site!

I don't recommend coming to the NW USA in December or January.
Unless you just want to challenge yourself on some hard times. No, it's not Siberia, but it's not what it can be in March or April or May; the landscape flourishes, and the climate is a lot more friendly to our species.
Sleeping outside in Oregon or Washington winters: SUCK.
I suggest you explore the south until spring, then head up...
