Hitting the road in January!

Hey everyone, I was just referred to this forum by a friend after discussing my plans.

I am currently living in central Pennsylvania, but come January/early February I will be heading out!
I have done a very small amount of traveling before, and I am super excited!

I will be heading south initially, then most likely west towards CA. It'd be great to meet some awesome folks along the way, my first planned stop that I know of at the moment is Gainesville, FL - but I will be hitting up a lot of cities on my way there.
