My name is Matt, I'm 24 years old. I started traveling full time a little over a year ago. At this point I'm addicted. any time I settle down for too long I start to get that "itch" everyone talks about. Why fight it?
I mostly hitchhike. It's simple and gets you where you need to go. I've hopped trains before, not many though, just 3. and 2 of those were un-planned, spur-of-the-moment type rides. Maybe when it get warmer I'll make a bigger habit out of it....

I don't know what else to say really, so here's some random facts I can't figure out how to place in a coherent paragraph:

I drink, but I don't get drunk unless I'm around a ton of other people getting drunk. I keep my alcohol social (usually).

I don't do drugs, but I won't judge you if you do. If you think you have a problem with drugs, I'll let you beat yourself up rather than doing it myself.. Unless you're around me and it becomes a problem... The last thing I want is some crackhead getting overly paranoid on me for no reason, getting all agro, then punching me in the face and running away with my stuff (which has happened; didn't like it)...

I do smoke a lot of weed though, always on the lookout for it on the road!

I'm a pretty laid back person, I don't get agro randomly or lash out on people for no reason. If you're cool around me then I'm gonna be really cool around you.

Sometimes my brain shuts down and I refuse to socialize, I might go days without saying anything to anyone; doesn't happen often, but if I'm gonna roaddog it with someone I guess we should know the worst about each other... Just get over it, sit back, and smoke my weed with me.

I've dabbled in learning how to play guitar, but by the time I was really getting in to it, it broke... Rather than buying a new guitar, I bought a new banjo instead. So now I'm trying to learn the banjo, and I really like it! A very nice *twangy* sound. Don't ask me to play anything for you though... Just because I have a banjo doesn't mean I'm good at it....

I once ate a dozen, fresh out the oven, bakery sized muffins. I'm talking blueberry, strawberry, banana nut, etc... It seemed like a good idea at the time. Some things I don't like to think about........

I can't think of anything else to say, so just send me a message to say hi.

I'm going to be in Denver around the 7th or 8th. From there I'm hoping to be able to make it to Blacksheep in SoCal. Could use some company along the way!

I do not know wagon wheel. I mean.. I know the song... I just don't know how to play it. But if it means getting along with someone, then I'll start practicing right away!

Its not like I would be pretentious and be like "Oh, Hi MattHatter. Ahahaha Muffy here says you DONT KNOW W. Wheel. A Har har har!"

Hey! Welcome to StP. From your description you sound like the male version of me. If you're a muffin fan, you're gonna want to try a 'fruit explosion' if you ever come across a Tim Hortons. They are life changing.
