Greetings, my name is Goden. I will be homeless starting January 1st. I'm currently working at Pizza Hut in a very small town(2,000 population) in Georgia, USA. I already have a 25L backpack but I cant fit all the gear I bought into it. I plan on walking to Alabama then Texas and eventually california. Maybe I can do wwoofing once summer hits. Hope I can make some friends along the way aswell. I wanna learn bushcrafting and how to survive with nothing. I'm also interesting in ghost hunting (never done it before yet) and urban exploration (also never done it before yet). Kinda hope I run into a skinwalker while I'm out hiking in the woods.
But yeah really I'm just tried of being in this small ass town with nothing to do and no one to relate with. It seems like I cant fit in anywhere and I cant really make friends. But yeah thats enough about me, thanks for reading.

haha i always wished thered be a close encounter with some crazy shit like that too but never. not even a little bit. only worldly things sadly.

your heart really set on just walking all that?

there are parts of texas you cant even walk out of really without the interstate and then the copsll come say ya cant walk the interstate.. sometimes the only option is a bus ticket.

dont buy everything you think youll need until youre there first. youll figure out pack space priorities along the way

hope you find a cool farm and enjoy man! i had a blast doing that.

Yeah I plan on walking/jogging/running the whole way but if its not possible I'll just find the cheapest mode of transportation. I got a palante joey pack, i think its a running backpack/fastpack. Thanks for the advice and yeah I hope I find a good host on wwoof

Id never try it on foot first time!! Way too dangerous! Try with someone whos been on the road before. Ive learned you need those extra ryes on the road. And trust me as you travel you somehow always pick up what you really need to survive along the way.

I might take a cheap bus if I need to but I want to save money and walking is free. What's so dangerous about walking? Is it people, animals, weather? I think I can defend myself unless I run up on a bear, I dont think I currently have enough power to fend off such a foe.

Yeah I would love to have a battlebuddy but I dont have friends, so I have to rely on me and only me. Hopefully during my journey I make a friend though.
