Hi,
i am a 29 yo Australian fellow that has been independently on the road for the last 2 years through the UK, Europe (East/West), North Africa, Turkey and Canada.
I'm heading off to Mexico/Central America in the coming week and found this website as a result. I've experienced a lot of things on the road which have ranged from the fuck-awful to amazingly brilliant. can't really go into too much detail...i don't really know where to begin telling a bunch of strangers 2 years worth of things in one introduction.
but thats it...i've already browsed this forum for stories and photos and some are really great. i'm not really an internet traveller but its a good way to pass the time on occasion, and to see people like you guys springs a deal of relief to me that not everybody goes on guided tours and puts their faith in Lonely Planet.
