I'm back in real stable housing, working a bit, and really missing some of the places I slept on my travels in Australia..! Let's take a look
dreaming to be out there again...
The Great Australian Bight nat'l park
At night...
...and in the morning!
The start of the Great Ocean Road, on the edges of the cliffs, featuring two giant magpies (birds) who in the past have attacked my face. Luckily this morning they were only trying to steal my breakfast....
Further down on the Great Ocean Road, amongst the dunes:
In the back of a truck!! that some friends of friends turned into a bedroom:
I fell in love with this part of the Outback...the southern edge outside of Adelaide/Port Augusta. (Pimba/Woomera region) I just loved the color of the dirt and the lil green shrubs and absolute lack of trees. And the pink of the sunrise every morning...!
Crossing the Nullarbor plains...this is what happens with zero light pollution:
Aaaaand a train yard full of abandoned trains, which I squatted quite a lot while living in Melbourne
Cooking noodles and making coffee for breakfast with mad views of the skyline:
Do you have any photos/stories of beautiful or epic places you've slept?
