i think the hardest part would be putting them in a crate and flying over with you on the airplane; that and making sure they have whatever shots are necessary.

I am pretty sure that service dogs are allowed on airplanes. If they are certified and have all the paperwork, pretty sure it just sits right under your seat. It shouldnt be a problem unless you have a really big dog.
