The last camera I had got smashed up while in the carry case I made..
so this is my attempt at a water proof carry case that will stop my camera getting smashed up.. I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of it, as it's really easy..
I used...
1 little plastic "Sistema" food container that you can rack from any super market.. if you buy them I think they are only 1 dollar for the smaller ones.. the bigger they get the more they are. but they are really solid.
styrene foam from a takeaway container I found on the road.
some fabric from pants I found.
the zip from the same pants.
and some glue.

First just make a pouch for the case that hangs off a belt.

make a stencil and cut out pieces of the foam and glue it into the container to make it all snug and protective and such.

put yer camera in it. put it in the pouch, and away you go. I've tested it a bit, It can with stand me standing on it while wearing boots, it's fully water proof and floats.. but once the camera is outta the case it's vulnerable..
