Anyone heading thru SE Michigan should check this place out...clear freshwater...great fishing...lots of trees and cover for longterm covert camping...it is private property but there is never any hassles...its easy to get in and out...we have made holes in fence for easy access from any part of the quarry and have cleared out spots for campsites..rope swings and easy access in and out of the water..just recently ihaeve discovered huge deposits of quartz...I've been obsessed with this place lately it truly is one of the midwests great hidden spots...not to mention there are 4 rr tracks all within a half mile of each other...csx,ns,cn,Ann arbor rr....
