What lucky charm do y'all's have that you can't leave home without. I'll start.

I've got a sonic screwdriver that I carry everywhere I go. It's been with me for years and I know it's just a prop (that also functions as a nifty IR remote). I never realized how much this thing I carry in my pocket could influence my mindset until one night when I was exploring this abandoned sanitarium in Baltimore and my friends and I almost backed out until I whipped out my sonic and it gave me the courage I needed to push forward, it channeled my inner Doctor.

This ring belonged to my maternal grandfather. He was honestly the most responsible male role model that I had growing up. He had his faults for sure but he lived his life solely for the people he loved. When i knew him he was my kind hearted but stoic looking grandpa.

My mom found this ring a few years ago, almost a decade after he passed, and gave it to me. It doesn't fit so instead I wear it around my neck to ground me to reality and as a reminder of the person i want to be.

It's engraved on the front with his name.
"Angel R.C."
Short for Angel Rodriguez Cortez.

I got this rubber duck, not much of a story behind it, it just showed up in the door handle of my car one day shortly before I totaled my can and quit lmao
