the squat we found in providence i've only slept in once so far, mainly cause we knew it had been a spot for crackheads and junkies to do their shit in. while hanging out in there one afternoon, 3 of us were on the second floor just having a few beers. we always locked the only door to the place...
i dont remember any windows being boarded until it got shut down. the only access was thru the fire escape though. been a long time. and by the time it got shut down, only one person was still there.
there's definetly some sweet bildings and lots that are used occssionaly for shows. was in the lot of the knife factory yesterday for a touring punk rock circus that was sick. a lot of crackheads and sketchy shit though. most of my friends who've grown up in providence don't seem to know about...
my friends showed me the place. a green 2 apartment abandoned house behind 2 other abandoned houses in Olneyville. the door is unlocked usually. some local junkies use the place occassionally i think.

fuck the myspace group. i know the road is full of assholes. i've hung out with lots of em. but there's no reason to shit on folks who are new or "green" or whatever and are just asking questions. this site seems like a much more positive outlet for folks on the road.
