    Free Love and Orgies?

Right on, Brother. I struggle w lonliness too, and reckon most humans do. Remember the book I recommended in your book thread? Thats the theme of the book. Its counter intuitive though, as you think finding a a group will quell the loneliness, but the wrong group for the wrong reasons will...

    The Judgement Day Bookclub!!!

I dont say this a lot, but it's a must read for anyone who enjoys reading. Never heard of Holiday; but right, good stuff to reinforce into your psyche. We can either believe life happens to us, or life happens for us. I like Nietszche's idea of Amor Fati. (or love of fate) “That one wants...

Serendipitous encounters of the travelling kind

I was in Popayan Columbia with plans to cross into Ecuador. I took the the night bus from Popayan to Ipiales, the border town in Columbia, so I could cross the border early, get it over with and make my way to Mindo. Latin American bus stations are always frenetic and a test of patience. I...

    Free Love and Orgies?

Online hookup/dating sites have always seemed to me inherently creepy and made for predatory behavior. Even vanilla sites like Tinder and the like seem like an absurd way to meet people as opposed to...ya know, just talking to people. A lot of people I really like and respect use dating apps...

    Free Love and Orgies?

Yip. A lifestyle club orientation will focus on consent/etiquette (always ask before watching/joining,dont be a dick if someone says no thanks), safety/protection, and sanitizing toys and play areas. Kinksters and kink community are usually ahead of the curve on these things and dont tolerate...

Serendipitous encounters of the travelling kind

A great thing about travelling is when youre in a really low place (which inevitably happens on the road) there is always something small thats seems to shift your mood and make everything in the world right again; whether its a sunset, a candy bar being so fucking delicious, or some birds...

How Has Government Lock-Down Affected Your Travel?

Another note....it's sooo frustrating that borders are closed as travel is so cheap. Chatted with a lady who flew into PHX from CHI roundtrip for 18 bucks. Started dicking around on cheap flight sights and found dope deals, Vancouver roundtrip for 60, Guatamala City for 120 roundtrip. Silly, bc...

A lot of the burners I know are into orgies. Some friends convince me to check out burning man two years ago I think, lots of sex stuff. I just finished 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Such a good book. It currently my fave ever. Which is a big deal for me to say. It's a great book to travel with bc it's long enough to keep you busy for a while, nuanced enough to read multiple times, and written beautifully...

How Has Government Lock-Down Affected Your Travel?

I was in Laos and suppose to be touring SE asia until the 20th of march, but was worried about being able to get back so called my trip early, flew back to the states for a night and then to Mexico. It was sad and had to reroute my flights which was more expensive than I wanted but I'm grateful...

    Greatest backpack ever made?

Im bored so Ill throw my vote in. I had an Osprey atmos 55 L that was the best pack ever. Lasted 5 yrs in the height of my travel days. Very comfy, light, small enough that I couldnt fit more than I needed, all kinds of fun pockets, and the shoulders snaps always smelled like my stanky armpits.

Is white people stretching their ears cultural appropriation?

This was fun to read. I really dig what Roxy and Dameon had to say. My opinion, all culture is universal now. The interwebs and profit dictate that. My homie makes bank at festivals selling middle class gals those comfy thai pants that have efelants on them.

I hear the anti-american-culture sentiment a lot. As if we are all credit card toting capitolists driving gas guzzlers drinking pop. Mental health struggles while working on the road

When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: the people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous and surly. Why oggles are annoying

You goober. You try and sound intelligent but end up sounding silly. First you use a term average median. Just 'on average' is fine. Average is the sum of kiddos divided by couples. Median is the middle point of a set, which wouldnt apply to your point as the median will be higher than 1. If...
