Riding a freight train is something I always wanted to do and today I finally did it. I caught a train as it was going uphill around a sharp turn before going over the Delair bridge into Philadelphia. I had no idea where it was going. It was just a local junk train and ended up going to the Greenwich yard in south Philly but I had gotten off when it stopped along the Schuylkill River bike path. I later took the subway to FDR park where I saw my train again while it headed into the yard. I genuinely expected to feel so overwhelmingly free that I would be overcome with emotion, I was not. After processing the fact that I just hopped on a moving fucking train and making sure I was still alive and had all my limbs intact, I was kinda too nervous to move around at all. I mostly laid down hoping I didn’t get seen. I didn’t wanna stand up or jump around and be stupid because I was in the middle of a city and didn’t want to die. Oh, also I heard the knuckle is one of the most dangerous parts and to avoid touching it at all costs. It is. That thing was loud and fucking terrifying. Next time I hope to get a friend and travel to another city.

Ahhh scratch that I had read this manual awhile back and got it mixed up in my head confusing the flatbeds for the locomotive somehow all this time. I was mainly talking about the shipping containers and the way they can come loose moving inches to feet with the potential to crush someone. Or any cargo for that matter. Sorry guys my bad
