I spend a lot of time doing dog walks and training for an older cpl who have unruly ,huge and loveable, pit mastiff mixes. Also been gardening and making geo caches for my family and friends in case of shtf... my gf has been sewing masks and I made a garden box 1587221134772142177849.jpg and we made and fired our own clay pots and figures, 1587221305041663350249.jpg but what should I do next? Any Ideas?

Wow, it looks like you've managed to stay busy. One thing I've found that is useful is exercise. Don't forget to exercise because staying inside can make you weak as hell. Next thing ya know, you'll be feeling tired even though you haven't done anything and get worn out easily. Taking a nice, long break is one of the most counter-productive things a person can do. If you do any other neat projects, post it on here. I'd be interested in seeing it.

Exercise is like the only freedom left right now hahaha. But yeah the dogs I walk keep me fit. Just trying to stay busy and stay out of trouble. Currently i hide my pack all day at a friend's or I stash it, always have my mask on around my neck , having the mask and walking the dogs without my backpack has helped me get hasseled less by the cops. Even late night.

These stay at home orders have put many people in a bad position. If you don't have a conventional residence, how the hell are you supposed to obey these orders? I spent everything we had saved for 3 weeks of motel rent and food. We went through that, and now I'm back to selling jewelry. I tried to find a normal job, but nobody hired me. Rent is due, so I'm doing what must be done and hoping like hell some snobby biotch doesn't call the cops on me. It's not like I'm in denial about the virus, it's just that I've got to make ends meet somehow. If the government isn't going to pay us to stay indoors, then we've got to do what we can to survive. I hope all is well with you, and you only meet kind people and no haters.

I have a hard time processing my own struggle with this situation because everyone I've spoken to is having a tough time. We're terrified for the people we love and I'm trying to embrace this by constantly checking in with people. Phone calls and texts. I don't send emails because I have chosen to close my social circle a bit. I would say I spend 1-3 hours every day checking in or talking, but I don't push it because some people don't want to talk and that's okay. You'll find a couple people who would appreciate talking a couple times a week.

I also got a bike a month ago. I haven't enjoyed riding in DC and just prefer walking, but riding around after midnight is some I Am Legend kinda shit. For my 1312 homies, bike cops in DC are NOT social distancing or wearing ppe. If you are in a place where you can ride after 10pm you shouldn't get messed with as long as exercising alone isn't illegal. I've resumed my hobby of bike matinance that has added a couple hours to my day once in a while. If someone wants a copy of the Chainbreaker Bike Book to learn how to fix up bikes and maybe make some $ dm me and I'll see if I have enough stamps to put it in the mail.

Maybe it's an unhealthy habit, but whenever I get stressed I think about my friends and family who are married, both working from home, and have kids under the age of 13. If you haven't checked in with anyone like this, do it even if it's just to let them know somebody is thinking about them. I'll envy their employment and famillial stability as my circumstances change, but for now I'm glad I don't have all that responsibility in this tense situation.

I huff a bag of lavender when I get or stressed. Find something that smells good and make it part of your routine.

If you are in a city with a Food Not Bombs chapter, volunteer or just show up for a free vegan meal. The DC chapter is still operating every Saturday, handing out about 50 prepared meals in clam-shell containers. We haven't had a problem meeting demand because produce waste is going strong since people are only buying what they need.

Good luck to everyone.

Have been doing a lot of writing, and am working on finding ways to build stuff up, so people can come together, pull their resources and help each other.

Am lucky that I was visiting family when this whole thing came around, so am sheltered in at their house. But things are getting thin, especially with people's tensions right now. Am hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. Am wondering if things are going to hit the fan, or not.
