I've decided to live out of my little hybrid instead of paying this expensive California rent. All the friends think its crazy but so far its been working for me. It's only been about a week now and I have no complaints besides getting bored or lonely sometimes.
I start a new job in 6 days and I don't have too much saved up yet so I can't really travel much. With this new job, I get weekends off though and I figured with a hybrid I could drive basically anywhere as long as I get back in time for work. Maybe even take weekend flights to places.
Basically my first time posting here so if anyone is in san diego, hit me up. I've lived here for awhile now so I know the area.

You've been a member over two years and this is your first post?

Welcome.

I figure if I did office work and rubbertramped that I'd turn in each suit seperately at the dry cleaner and pick them up as I needed them (kind of using them like a closet).

There's at least a couple people on the site lately who are in San Diego.

Is that what it's considered? Rubbertramp? I do kinda remember reading about different terms involving the word tramp.
I never posted because I was never fully into the lifestyle. I would just read things on here as motivation .
Thankfully its a factory job with casual clothes so I dont have to worry about keeping ironed clothes around.
I'm looking forward to meeting others with similar lifestyles. Im kind of an introvert so making friends tends to be a little slow for me.

There's some nice people here. Might be a little tough for an introvert, but there are other introverts here as well.

Hey! I'm a total introvert too. Honestly, the people on the road seem to be the nicest I've ever met. The majority are very out going so we can kind of balance them out when we're with them.

Personally, I'm totally with you on car/van dwelling. Rent is way too expensive and it gets to the point where we're just working to live somewhere that we're never at because we have to work to have it, you know?

Anyway, welcome!

Rent is for sukkaz. :D The world will be equitable when the landlords and other rentier class (developers; banks; realtors) go to the tumbrils. Our rent should be no more than 10% of our monthly income. Nationalize the real estate industry.
