Sup y'all, I have a MSS but cant really do anything with it because the pack I have now, the main opening is too small and the sleep system in the compression sack is like a basketball and it wont even fit. So I put the black bag in storage and I'm just using the other shit without the compression sack and black bag.
Anyways, I'm getting a new pack soon on ebay. Who here has the sleep system and what pack do you use with it?
I was thinking maybe an external frame would be nice like a kelty pack.

The bivy is awesome though I also have a tarp for when it rains cats and dogs. Some nights it seems like theres no way to stay dry though haha. But on days when it was pouring, I was in my bivy and had a tarp over me and my road dawg and we woke up she was like FUCK IM SOAKED EVERYTHING IS WET FUCK THIS MAN and my head was just wet nothing else really haha. I'd say get one dude the gortex bivy works nice and it can be good for a sleeping bag alone in warmer weather

I just use a couple of carabiners to clip the stuff sack to the bottom of my osprey atmos cause I have the same problem with the top hole being to small.
