Over the years it has become apparent to me just how ugly the system can be at times. Fractinal banking is destroying america.
I would say it all began in 1913 with the passing of the Federal Reserve Act.(passed days before christmas 1913 when many congress men where absent...sketchy) i dont think i need to go into too much detail as it seems that my views will be shared by the majotiy of this fourm. Now days The few financial elete pull the congressinal strings by funding presidental campaigns and takeing advantage of heavy lobbying. It matters not wether the president is republican or democrat, the financial elete are the ones who have the power, they are the ones who do the job of the president, Enforceing Law. Some of you may have heard of Norman Thomas. A 6 time presidental candiate who said ..
'The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under
the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist
program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without
knowing how it happened''
When Thomas was later enterviewd in the late 70s he said he nolonger needed to run for presadent because america was allready socialist.

The reality is that we area traped in the largest prymid scheme in histrory, some not wanting to change (i blame the FLORIDE IN THE FUCKING WATER) and others too ignorant to realize the truth.

I have decided that do not want to contribute in any way to the great United States Of America. and so i will try not to.

thanks

So this is your introduction? ;) Nice to meet you!

Dunno about healthcare - I kinda like that. Bartended for 8-10 yrs - no healthcare provided with that. And during that time I managed to decide to ride with a group of wild mtb people in the city - bombed parks, construction sites, concrete jungles and parking garages (they were fun - out run the security people) but had a massive crash and landed in the hospital for a bit. Someday someone will find me for >$10,000. Better than a friend I was riding with who did a faceplant on a concrete overhang as he was jumping up on the railing - he smashed every bone in his face and was in a two week coma then rehab - he said they want over $200,000 for his bills. So I like my healthcare - and yeah wish I didn't have to do the other things you listed :(

i've been living mostly money free (spent about $50 this summer all told) since july 1st and not eager to go back to living with a steady supply of change in my pocket. money cheats people out of their energy. dead paper does not adequately compensate for physical/mental work that requires live energy to complete. also the exclusion of people without money by those with it is hard to stomach at times

As said I'm far from being ready to live without money but I find the concept fascinating somehow. Absolutely contrary to what our societies teach us we should do. Having a career, making lots of money to spend for things not really needed, consume without thinking about the things really important in life.
$50 in a summer is very little, indeed. Btw recently I watched a video on youtube about a guy and a gal in her fifties, traveling through Germany by hiking with their self made push carts. Learned that homeless nomads can get about 12 €/~ $15 per day (only 3 consecutive days in a row) in most of the cities/counties here. They have to collect the cash personally until 9 or so in the morning. What do you guys think about such benefits? Would you take it?

PS: the video is in german, but link it anyway (the scene about the money is at 6:25)

...with "harsh" cold
"hm?" what, do you detect something?
äh no don't know what to detect ... what do you mean?
What I was trying to say ... last winter was really cold in US (was even in the news here in Germany) while we had barely any winter (not much more than one day of snow here).
And with temps waayyy below 0°C (freezing, way below 32°F) during the night saying "during the days it warmed up so no issues" is like wow ... you are tough. :)
Because it very much likely would be an issue for me.
