Me and two homies are heading to the Santa Fe area in their van to try to hole up for the winter. I've been there before but it was like 3 years ago. Any suggestions for cool shit to check out, punk houses to play shows at, places to find temp work, or just general info about the area, would be much appreciated!

Sounds like a plan.... good luck in setting up a base.
Only thing I know about santa fe if I remember correctly is that the leo's are fucking above average assholes.
Someone posted up a while back here I think a vid on a shooting of a homeless man up in the rocky hills.
I think the feds got involved in investigating the department after that.
I guess santa fe had an above average statistic for leo's shooting people.
Hope the situations has gotten better there then... but don't know.

Yeah I remember hearing about that in the news... Slightly troubling especially since one of our plans is to try to find an abandoned cabin outside of the city to squat and fix up. Oh well, cops are scary everywhere... Especially in Texas, which is where we are right now.

That's Albuquerque dummies...SF is a hidden gem. Tons of space to camp, beautiful weather, southern Rockies, buskers well tipped by tourists and local weirdos.
