Im in search of a great place to live outdoors. Like in a tent until I can find a way to build better shelter, like a diy cabin.
Not much experience here.
Tips, ideas, place suggestions, west states???

Dude, my man... The Free world doesn't exist here. Maybe in other places around the world. But here... Maybe more specific. But your kinda doomed to the same as the rest of us... No place to go my friend.

I meant no malice despite my tone. I've traveled a fair bit - 1st class, stowaway, and everything between - explored myriad facets of human experience; still no free lunch. You gotta shift for yourself in this life. I don't mean to come off righteous, but if you've hit upon an easier mode of surviving do tell. Granted, I've come across tremendously generous souls who've shared everything they had and more - but not in any sustainable mode. Nor would I have accepted anything beyond reasonable. But that's me - I got my own trail to blaze...

I get it, I do. I was basically fishing, dragging a line lol. You never know if you dont ask. I dream of living off grid, and know its not going to be easy or free. So yeah, just thought I would check to see if there were any answers to my plea. I appreciate your councel. For its not balls I lack, only experience

I'm old - plus born/raised Californian. It's expensive here. I love it because it's familiar, but I love wherever I visit also - you gotta strive for what's good wherever you go. It's not always easy, but the hardest part is opening up to it - adjusting your attitude/perspective to a more receptive mode. I had all kinds of foolish notions about folks 'elsewhere' - now I only try to find out whether they're decent or not. I've learned most people are. So cast your net far & wide, but be prepared to be challenged/sized up how much you're willing to give in order to get.

Support StP!

Donations go towards paying our monthly server fees, adding new features to the website, and occasionally putting a burrito in Matt's mouth.

Total amount
$0.00
Goal
$100.00

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $0.00 of $50.00
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $0.00 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $0.00 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $0.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.

I'm about to buy a trowel and start digging catholes. I'm tired of waiting 30 minutes to take a shit and then having to force my intestines out all because I got constipated waiting for the bathroom.

This dumpster was amazing;I'd often found throwaways of the big liter bottles they ship syrup with codiene to pharmacies in. Because of the consistency of it there would always be an ounce or two in the bottle they didnt get out. I'd get 2 or 3, spatula scrape out the good, make some szrrrp, put on DJ screw and get faded. :)

I swear this guy is my role model right now. If anyone's gonna ride this out with style, it's him.

This guy with a website called "Rustic Cyberpunk", does computer stuff while living in a cabin in the woods.

You'll need a Tor browser to view his blog, though. I won't link it here because it's not a regular link, and I'm not sure if that's okay on here.
