Hello, I'm sorry, I've got really bad news for you. I used to squat with Rusty in Oakland, back in 2013. I asked out ex-house mate, Keelan, who was his Road Dawg at the time if your Rusty was our Rusty, and he answered without hesitation that Blockhead was Rusty's dog.
Rusty died of a drug overdose in the early stages of the pandemic. I'll try to write more on the obituary page soon, I just wanted to reach out to you first, since I read you were looking for him.
