Got a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan off fb marketplace for 800 and made her all cute n shit, great van for summer living and surfing on the west coast of Vancouver Island. A massive network of decommissioned logging roads connect small coastal towns and if you're respectful no one will bother you living down those roads in your van. We had a community of 15-20 vans parked in a valley near Ucluelet. One night I camped by myself and the van was surrounded by a pack of sea wolves. Learn some mechanics!! I murdered this baby by driving a piston through the engine on my way to Whistler, had to sleep beside the highway and hitchhike out the next morning, abandoning her to the woods.
