Remembering old travel and travelers

I have been reading the posts on here for a while. I’m way too old to hop trains , but StP reminds me of when I hitchhiked here in the US and all over Europe when I was a student in France. As a professor at a major medical school I’m very far from that life now. We have done couch surfing as hosts and enjoyed the people. Now that the semester is over we will probably do it again at our summer place. But just wanted to wish everyone well and hope you enjoy your travels as much as I did
