I was looking for information about how to go to reunion island or mauritus from india, by the sea, and then I found out this website, which seems really good. I saw a lot of topics closed to my interests. I already know squat.net, very active in france. I don t speak good english, as you can read, but I don t feel any language barrier, and I ll be glad to share tips about traveling, gardening, squatting and smashing capitalism. Now I am in the mongolian ugly capital city, and I am soon going to china.
I think I am enough introduced!

I think that will be very difficult, unles you speak the language well and are prepared to hike in on foot avoiding main roads/border checkpoint. Far from impossible, probably a great adventure, but not worth it in my estimation. My brother has been to Tibet twice recently and I've traveled around China abit too, they are pretty serious about their laws and it is hardto go unnoticed in Western China.

There is a good book about hitchhiking in western China, and it deals with some of the bureaucracy and border issues, it is called Road to Heaven Lake, by Vikram Seth, I liked it a lot.
